Ford Motor Company is committed to being part of the pollution answer and its Roush designed Propane conversion for trucks and vans is just the begining.  Just a few weeks back Yellow Cab of Chicago began to add CNG powered Ford Transit Connects to their fleet of alternative fuel vehicles.  The Taxi Medallion Management company purchased 12 of the compressed natural gas Transit Connect Taxis for its fleet.  This one purchased allowed Yellow cab to reduce their emmissions by 25% immediately.  According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, CNG is less expensive and burns cleaner than gasoline resulting in 30 to 40 percent less emmissions that would harm mother earth.  Production of the Transit Connect Taxi marks an exciting time for Ford Motor Company and Oregon Auto Dealers like Gresham Ford.
